About the Role

Catalyst Metals is seeking an experienced Underground Mining Foreman for its operations at the Plutonic Gold Mine, on an 8:6 roster flying from Perth. Reporting to the Underground Manager, you would give leadership and operational direction to Mining Supervisors, and coordinate people and resources so that underground mining is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and support Mining Supervisors to keep the workforce safe, productive and accountable
  • Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to achieve planned mining targets
  • Oversee daily underground activities against production schedules and priorities
  • Maintain compliance with Catalyst's safety standards, policies, procedures and statutory requirements
  • Identify operational challenges and drive improvements in safety, productivity and efficiency
  • Work with technical and operational teams on planning and mine performance

About You

  • Demonstrated underground mining experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of underground mining methods, equipment and production processes
  • WA Underground Shift Supervisor's Certificate of Competency or equivalent
  • Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • National Police Check meeting business requirements
  • Current, unencumbered WA C class driver's licence
