About the Role
Sodexo is hiring a full time Refrigeration Mechanic for its Facilities Maintenance team, which looks after remote accommodation villages and mining sites. The role is FIFO on a 2/1 roster with 11 hour days, flying out of Townsville. Sodexo asks that candidates live in Townsville already or are willing to relocate there at their own cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing on commercial and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs
- Complete compliance inspections
- Keep maintenance records and work orders up to date
- Work as part of a facilities team supporting remote village and mine site clients
About You
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- An ARCtick refrigerant handling licence
- A QBCC licence, or the ability to obtain one
- Current CPR and LVR, plus a restricted electrical licence
- An Australian driver's licence and full Australian work rights
- Willingness to complete a police check, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
