Downer's Energy and Utilities business needs a Plumber for a casual project role on Chevron's Barrow Island site in WA. The role works a 2:1 roster of 12 hour days, flying in and out from Perth Airport. The project replaces the digester and treated effluent tanks at the island's wastewater treatment plant. Work starts as soon as possible and runs to the end of 2026, with a chance of extension. Applications close 29 October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Help remove existing wastewater infrastructure
- Install new wastewater treatment assets
- Support the mechanical and piping work on the tank replacement
- Use hand tools and equipment safely
- Work as part of a close crew with a Zero Harm focus
About You
- Certificate III as a Plumber or Gasfitter
- WA driver's licence
- White Card or construction induction
- Working at Heights completed in the last two years
- Hepatitis A and B and tetanus vaccinations
- Good communication skills and a commitment to safety
