About the Role
Monadelphous is hiring Mechanical Fitters for the Jimblebar Train Load Out Replacement Project near Newman in the Pilbara. This greenfields construction job runs on a FIFO roster of 2 weeks on and 1 week off, with 12 hour shifts, and the project is expected to run until September 2027. The scope includes a new train loadout, drive station and feed conveyor tied into an existing transfer station.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and align mechanical equipment on a new conveyor and train loadout
- Carry out laser alignment of motor and gearbox couplings
- Install pulleys and complete labyrinth checks
- Perform hytorque and bolt tensioning work
- Support shutdown tie-ins to existing plant safely and to standard
About You
- At least two years of construction experience
- Laser alignment, pulley installation and bolt tensioning experience
- Mechanical trade certificate
- Construction white card
- Driver licence
- Full working rights in Australia
