About the Role
MACA, part of Thiess, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for its operation at Cape Preston (Sino Iron), about 100 km south-west of Karratha in the Pilbara. The role runs on an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth. You will lead the maintenance crew day to day, keep the fleet available and cut downtime, working for the Maintenance Superintendent. Applications close at the end of 20 November 2026, Perth time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance staff, apprentices and subcontractors on a daily basis
- Get the most out of the plant and reduce equipment downtime
- Plan and run breakdown and backlog work for the Maintenance Superintendent
- Make sure all work meets MACA's quality and safety standards
- Use KPIs to find and drive maintenance improvements
About You
- At least two years in a similar supervisory role
- Exposure to Liebherr MT4400 haul trucks and Liebherr excavators
- A heavy diesel trade or similar qualification
- Schedule 26 statutory supervisor training
- A current driver's licence, with HR desirable
- AMT experience is preferred
