About the Role
Northern Star Resources is hiring an Environmental Advisor for its Hemi gold development project in the Pilbara. Reporting to the Environment Superintendent, you will support environmental compliance across both construction and operations on site. The role is permanent, full time and site based, on an 8/6 roster flying in and out of Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Environmental monitoring, sampling, inspections and field work across the site
- Analyse environmental data and prepare reports
- Oversee contractor compliance with environmental requirements
- Support flora, fauna, water management and heritage compliance programs
- Help implement the site environmental management system
- Contribute to audits, incident investigations and improvement projects
About You
- Degree in environmental science or a related discipline
- Experience as an Environmental Advisor, ideally in mining, resources or construction
- Knowledge of WA environmental legislation, compliance requirements and management systems
- Strong organisation, communication and Microsoft Office skills
- C class driver's licence and a National Police Clearance, or able to obtain one
- Mine site and 4WD experience, fauna handling, and QGIS, Pronto or Monitor skills are a plus
