About the Role
Westgold Resources is hiring a permanent full time Emergency Services Officer to support its gold operations across the Southern Goldfields and Murchison regions of Western Australia. The role is on an 8/6 FIFO roster. You will be the first responder for emergencies on site and help keep the workforce prepared, trained and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency, rescue and medical incidents
- Provide pre-hospital emergency care to injured or unwell workers
- Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment and facilities
- Plan and run emergency training and drills
- Support emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance
- Carry out drug and alcohol testing
About You
- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
- Relevant emergency medical qualifications
- A current C class driver's licence
- A current first aid certificate
- Drug and alcohol testing competency and mining experience are highly regarded
