About the Role

Exact Contracting is hiring trade-qualified Boilermakers for long-term civil construction projects at FIFO locations across South Australia. You will look after fabrication, welding and maintenance on the company's heavy earthmoving fleet and its crushing and screening plant. The ad does not name a roster, so ask about the swing when you apply.

Key Responsibilities

• General fabrication and welding on earthmoving, crushing and screening plant
• Thermal lancing and working from detailed drawings
• Planned and preventative maintenance, plus other maintenance tasks as needed
• Structural steel replacement and repairs to conveyors, crushers, chutes, buckets, truck bodies and screens

About You

• A nationally recognised boilermaker trade qualification (essential)
• Experience with stick, MIG, TIG and oxy welding, oxy and plasma cutting, and pipe shaping
• A current unrestricted driver's licence, construction white card and working at heights ticket (essential)
• A clear commitment to safety and the ability to work well in a team
• Able to pass a National Police Clearance (no older than three months), a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screen
