About the Role
MACA is looking for Auto Electricians to join the maintenance team at the Karlawinda Gold Project, about 65 km south-east of Newman in the Pilbara. The role runs on a FIFO 2/1 roster (7 days, 7 nights, 7 off), with full-time and casual rates available. Karlawinda is a long-life open pit gold mine owned by Capricorn Metals and one of the newer gold operations in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose and repair electrical systems on heavy mobile mining equipment, mainly Caterpillar
- Carry out planned servicing and breakdown repairs as part of the site maintenance team
- Work independently while following site health and safety procedures
- Keep clear communication with supervisors and the wider maintenance crew
About You
- Australian recognised Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Experience on heavy mobile mining equipment, ideally CAT
- Air conditioning ticket and experience preferred
- HR driver's licence preferred
- Strong communication, motivation and safety awareness
