About the Role

Georgiou needs experienced AHS Escort Operators for a major civil project it is delivering for a mining client in the Pilbara, near Pannawonica in Western Australia. The role is on a 2:1 FIFO roster flying out of Perth. The project's civil and bulk earthworks crews work inside an operating mine that runs Autonomous Haulage Systems, and your job is to move people, vehicles and equipment through those areas safely. The ad was posted on 2 November 2026 and gives no closing date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escort project vehicles, personnel and equipment through areas controlled by autonomous haulage
  • Follow the site's AHS procedures, protocols and access rules
  • Keep clear radio contact with the operational teams
  • Watch for changes in site and traffic conditions and respond to them
  • Complete pre-starts, inspections and paperwork
  • Work alongside supervisors, operators and the client's operational teams

About You

  • Experience in mining, resources or large civil construction
  • Experience working in or around autonomous haulage operations, and previous AHS escort experience, are both essential
  • A good grasp of mine site traffic management around heavy mobile equipment
  • Strong radio and communication skills and sound situational awareness
  • Pilbara and FIFO experience is highly regarded
  • Construction White Card and a driver's licence, with an HR licence and bus driving experience a strong advantage
  • Able to work a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth
